JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing the preparation, serving, sale of food items and team members at restaurant or cart locations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and serve food with a smile!
- Maintain an organized cash register for sale of products.
- Monitor food temperatures during holding and serving.
- Monitor staffing, production and quality levels.
- Maintain and control location inventory.
- Observe proper sanitation guidelines at all times (hair restrained, hand washing, etc).
- Perform clean-up duties of all kinds before, during, and after a shift.
- Exhibit proper Guest Service Skills at all times.
- Report to work on time, as scheduled.
- Follow guidelines for proper notification of sick leave and vacations.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- May be shifted to various locations, as staffing needs dictate.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Responsible for adhering to Nashville Shores uniform and grooming guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- This position requires standing, walking, crouching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and pushing - Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, or otherwise move and position stock and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying climates.
Skills and Abilities:
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information efficiently; and develop alternative solutions when needed.
- Mathematic Ability: Utilize basic arithmetic (Add, Subtract, Divide, and Multiply).
- Technical Skills: Properly handle a cash register and its functions after training.
- Communication: Greet each and every guest in a warm and inviting manner; complete all supporting documentation in a clear and concise fashion; and able to read and interpret information quickly.
- Planning/Organizing: Keep assigned work area clean and organized at all times; file appropriate documentation and be able to furnish information on request; fill downtime with appropriate tasks; and work in an efficient manner.
- Quality Control: Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work; look for ways to improve and promote quality; and be able to monitor own work for quality assurance.
- Dependability: Follows instructions and responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; completes tasks on time or notifies supervisor with an alternate plan and timeline; consistently on time for scheduled shift; and ensure responsibilities are covered when absent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Pay Range: $15.00 - $15.75
Certificates and Licenses: Cashier Certification (Obtained during department training)
