An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part/Newly Qualified Accountant to join a growing insurance finance team in London. This role sits within the External Reporting function and is responsible for the delivery of statutory, regulatory, and Lloyd's reporting requirements across a range of international insurance entities.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Claims, and Reinsurance teams, ensuring the timely and accurate submission of regulatory returns while contributing to process improvements and reporting excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements for international insurance entity
- Prepare quarterly and annual Lloyd's returns, including QMA, QMB, QSR, Solvency UK reporting and Trust Fund reporting.
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements relating to UK branch operations and statutory reporting for multiple legal entities.
- Liaise with external auditors, ensuring timely provision of information and resolution of audit queries.
- Produce analytical review schedules and supporting documentation for key regulatory returns.
- Partner with colleagues across Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Claims and Reinsurance functions to obtain and validate reporting data.
- Part-qualified/Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Insurance accounting experience, ideally within the London Market or Lloyd's environment.
- Understanding of Lloyd's regulatory reporting requirements.
