We are working with a growing insurance brokers based in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, who are looking for an Account Executive to join their team.
About the Role
You will already be an established Account Executive, dealing with commercial insurances - particularly construction based clients. This role will have a strong focus on New Business, but with a steady stream of inbound leads within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Dealing with commercial insurances
- Focusing on New Business
- Managing inbound leads within the construction industry and prospecting new clients
- Engaging with clients on or off site, conducting detailed and thorough fact finds and ensuring they are receiving the correct coverage for their business
- Taking opportunities to upsell and cross sell to new and existing clients
- Liaising with other brokers, insurers and underwriters
- Dealing with the handling of your book including MTAs, renewals and claims
Required Skills
- Experience in commercial insurances - minimum 3 years as an Account Executive
- Strong focus on New Business including prospecting new clients
- Confidence with negotiating with underwriters and insurers
- Have a base knowledge of construction insurances, policies and industries
- A strong understanding of how to fact find and provide complete policy coverage
Preferred Skills
- Experience with construction based clients
