The Company
A reputable, boutique and international Lloyd\’s of London Broker, who have an strong reputation in the market, due to their superb level of staff retention, prided as an excellent place to work for, are now seeking a Technician, where the post-holder will be dealing with all aspects of Insurance and Reinsurance. This involves client, market and underwriter interaction, and is not your average Technical role, with much more to offer.
Role Duties
You will be responsible for managing all premium processing aspects with regards to Facultative, Binder,Treaty and Direct business. You will liaise and maintain good relationships with Clients, Underwriters, Xchanging and Lloyd\’s Delegated Authorities, as well as submitting Premium\’s to Xchanging for Facultative business including Correction packages. You will produce documentation inclusive of PANs, Debit/Credit Notes and Security Sheets. Your role will also entail working collaboratively with Brokers and Account Handlers, to ensure the smooth delivery of risk placement.
About You
You will have a minimum of 4 years + of experience in handling all aspects of Premium Processing within a Lloyd\’s Broker. You will have a solid understanding of both insurance and (re)insurance across Non-Marine business and ideally exposure in Facultative and Binder business.
