A well established Lloyd’s broker is seeking a Premium Processing Technician to join their London team on a fixed term contract through to December 2026. This role is ideal for someone with existing insurance market experience who is keen to strengthen their technical capability within a specialist marine and wider commercial environment. You will join a supportive and collaborative team, with a focus on processing, documentation and technical accuracy rather than production.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting brokers and senior technicians with day to day processing activities
- Preparing, reviewing and issuing documentation including slips, endorsements and evidence of cover
- Processing premium and claims entries in line with market and internal standards
- Assisting with IMR uploads, LPANs and other core London Market processes
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure documentation and payment workflows run smoothly and efficiently
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience within the insurance market, either broker, carrier or coverholder side
- Good understanding of London Market processes and systems, including IMR and LPANs
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- A proactive team player with a flexible and positive approach
- A genuine interest in developing a long term career within a technical or processing focused role in the London Market
- Experience processing on Brokasure Desktop is preferred
