Nashrock Recruitment is working with a leading, well-established insurance brokerage seeking a Commercial Claims Executive to join its team in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical and client-facing aspects of claims, is confident negotiating with insurers and takes pride in achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
The Role
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance claims from initial notification through to settlement.
- Handle complex, high-value and contentious claims across a range of commercial sectors.
- Act as a trusted adviser to clients throughout the claims process.
- Negotiate with insurers to achieve fair and timely settlements.
- Liaise with loss adjusters, legal representatives, brokers and other stakeholders.
- Attend client meetings and site visits following significant losses.
- Work closely with Account Executives and Claims Handlers to deliver an exceptional client experience.
About You
- Previous commercial claims experience within an insurance brokerage is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance policies, coverage and claims procedures.
- Experience managing claims through to settlement, including more complex losses.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Confidence dealing directly with commercial clients and challenging insurer decisions where appropriate.
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
CII qualifications, or progress towards them, would be advantageous but are not essential.
