A hugely successful, global and dynamic Lloyd's Broker is now actively seeking a Technical Account Handler within their market-leading Crisis Management Team, focused on the smooth and compliant placement of Kidnap & Ransom Risks. Joining an innovative team, where collaboration is key, this is a front-end technical and servicing role, with market interaction as and when required, where you will be responsible for supporting Brokers to ensure the smooth placement of risks. This role also includes swift progression into management/team lead duties, should this align with your career prospects.

Role Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Brokers to assist with day-to-day servicing and providing first-class technical support
  • Creating timely and accurate MRC Slips and Endorsements
  • Reviewing policy documentation to ensure accuracy and issuing to clients accordingly
  • Attending client and insurer meetings
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Delivering a value-added service in line with KPI's
  • Supporting with the management of accounts
  • Liaising with technical processing and IBA Teams to ensure timely payments to insurers

About You

  • A minimum of 5 years + experience of working in a technical role for a Lloyd's Broker
  • Competent in producing client and market documentation (MRC Slips and Endorsements)
  • OUR CLIENT IS FLEXIBLE ON YOUR BUSINESS CLASS EXPERIENCE - Ideally you will come from a Crisis Management background (PVT, K&R, or A&H), OR International Property, Casualty or Marine
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
