A leading global Lloyd's Broker is seeking an experienced Senior Client Advocate to join its Client Services Division, supporting a portfolio of complex Marine & Energy Treaty Reinsurance business.
This senior technical role combines specialist processing expertise, broker support, client service and team support.
You will act as a key technical referral point for colleagues while working closely with brokers, clients and reinsurers to ensure accurate, efficient and high-quality service.
This role suits a Senior Processing Technician with experience in Treaty Reinsurance Marine and/or Energy business, who is energetic and passionate about working collobertaivley with clients and reinsurers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end technical processing across proportional and excess of loss Treaty business.
- Process premiums, settlements and claims accurately and efficiently.
- Manage claims through to settlement and closure.
- Prepare and issue client and market documentation.
- Liaise with brokers, clients and reinsurers on technical matters.
- Support cash allocation, client statements, aged debt and portfolio reporting.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues.
- Promote best practice, accuracy and service excellence.
Experience & Skills
- 7 years + experience in Treaty Reinsurance processing, ideally across Marine and/or Energy.
- Solid knowledge of proportional and excess of loss premium and claims processing.
- Experience with London Market systems such as IMR, CLASS, ECF and LORS. Open TWINS advantageous
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative approach with the confidence to provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
