A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technician to provide post-placement technical support for the processing of US and International Non-Marine risks placed into the Lloyd's and London Market via the Open Market, Binders and Lineslips.

In addition to managing a varied technical workload, you will play a key role in mentoring and supporting two Technicians, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality service and maintaining technical standards across the team.

  • Role Responsibilities
  • Premium processing for US and International Non-Marine Open Market, Binding Authority and Lineslips risks
  • Bordereaux processing and submissions
  • Provide advice, training and guidance to Junior Technician's
  • Check and process Market Reform Contracts (MRCs), endorsements, certificates, evidence of cover and other market documentation.
  • Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of risk information within broking and processing systems.
  • Submit risks via London Market systems including Whitespace/PPL, Xchanging, IMR and other market platforms where applicable.
  • Producing and issuing LPAN's, Credit and Debit notes
  • Process premium and policy transactions in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and compliant before market submission.
  • Liaise with Brokers, Underwriters, clients and third-party service providers to resolve technical queries efficiently.
  • Responding to Velonetic/Xchanging queries providing timely and efficient resolutions
  • Act as the team's technical expert for complex risks and processing queries.
  • Keep up to date with Lloyd's market changes, regulatory developments and industry best practice.

Experience Required

  • 10 years + experience required within a Technical Processing role for a Lloyd's accredited Broker
  • Experienced in performing post-placement duties for Open Market and Binding Authority placememts (desirable)
  • Experience in Lloyd's processing systems (Xchanging, IMR etc)
  • Provide expert techncial advice to junior Techncian's
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
