We’re partnering with an ambitious and well-backed new MGA, as they launch a specialist Property proposition. This is a rare opportunity to step into a business-facing underwriting role with a clear pathway to progression opportunities within 12-18 months.
- Knows property underwriting inside-out
- Enjoys being out in the market building relationships
- You’ll work closely with the Head of Underwriting, helping to shape broker strategy, drive profitable growth, and play a key role in scaling the business.
- Present performance insights and underwriting strategy
- Review complex referrals and claims outside authority limits
- Reporting & Performance
- Analyse MI and underwriting performance data
- Opportunity to help build an MGA from the ground up
- Circa 5+ years’ experience in Property underwriting
- Strong knowledge of Property Owners and/or Unoccupied risks
- MUST have the ability to travel across UK to meet with brokers as needed
- Understanding of loss ratios and portfolio performance
