An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced outwards reinsurance technician to join a specialist London Market insurance business.
This role would suit someone with strong outward reinsurance experience with good quota share experience, ideally gained within both Syndicate and Company markets.
Working as part of a collaborative reinsurance function, you will support activity across the full ceded reinsurance lifecycle, with a particular focus on ensuring information is accurate, processes are well controlled and internal and external stakeholders have what they need to move work forward efficiently.
Key areas of focus will include
- Supporting operational activity in preparation and process of Quota share agreements related processes.
- Preparing, reviewing and coordinating key reinsurance information and documentation.
- Working with underwriting data to ensure accuracy, completeness and usability.
- Liaising with internal teams and external market contacts to support smooth delivery.
- Helping maintain reporting, MI and process controls across the reinsurance function.
- Contributing to projects focused on improving systems, processes and ways of working.
The ideal candidate will have a strong reinsurance background and ideally have gained exposure to both Syndicate and Company Markets, experience of LORS would be an advantage.
