We're partnering with a highly respected specialist MGA that's seeking a talented professional to support the management and oversight of its delegated authority portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced underwriters and senior stakeholders, ensuring underwriting agreements are managed efficiently while maintaining the highest technical and regulatory standards.

The Role

As a Delegated Authority Technician, you'll be responsible for the administration, oversight and ongoing management of delegated authority agreements across the business. You'll provide technical support to underwriting teams, ensure compliance with Lloyd's and London Market requirements, and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of delegated authority processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and maintain new and existing binding authority agreements.
  • Manage endorsements and amendments to delegated authority contracts.
  • Support the approval and registration of agreements through Lloyd's and London Market systems, including ATLAS and DCOM.
  • Assist with Coverholder approvals, due diligence and ongoing compliance requirements.
  • Produce management information and reports to support business oversight.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers and central databases.
  • Support capacity provider audits and assist with bordereaux preparation.
  • Work closely with Underwriters, Directors and stakeholders, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practice is followed.
  • Respond to technical queries and manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.

About You

  • Previous experience in a Delegated Authority or Binder Management.
  • A strong understanding of Lloyd's and London Market delegated authority processes.
  • Experience using Lloyd's systems such as DCOM, ATLAS and other market platforms.
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across underwriting and operational teams.
  • Experience working within an MGA, insurer or Lloyd's broker.
