The Company

Our Client, an established, innovative and dynamic Lloyd's Broker, has a strong reputation in the market due to their superb level of staff retention, prided as an excellent place to work and a true independent Broker of Choice! Specialising in multiple (Re)insurance classes of business across various worldwide territories, a brand new opportunity has arisen for an Account Handler due to significant growth in our client's US Open Market Property portfolio. This is a Front-End Technical position that involves working closely with Brokers, with extensive Client and Market involvement.

Role Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively with Brokers, Clients and Insurers
  • Assisting with the smooth running of placing risks into the Open Market
  • Creating timely and accurate MRC Slips and Endorsements
  • Managing and servicing Clients/US Retail Brokers through to renewals
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with clients and markets
  • Reviewing client and market documentation to ensure accurate submissions presented to insurers

About you

  • 8 years + of London Market experience in a Technical Account Handler / Broker Support role for a Lloyd's Broker
  • Extensive experience in creating Open Market MRC Slips and Endorsements for US Property Risks
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
