Job Description
Our client, a well-established, international and leading Lloyd\’s Broker, is seeking a Broker to join their Marine Cargo Division. The successful candidate will be performing client and market facing Broker duties and will play a pivotal part of assisting with the day-to-day servicing and growth of a lucrative portfolio of North American and International Cargo Risks, biased towards Stock Throughout business.
Role Responsibilities
- Day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of North American and International Cargo Risks
- Building and maintaining client and market relationships
- Providing a first-class service to clients and retail broker partners
- Assisting with enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Negotiating terms with insurers and the placement of risks
- Growing the portfolio and identifying new business opportunities and cross-selling
- Attending industry network events, conferences and travelling for business, when necessary
- Liaising with the technical team to assist with the delivery of insurance documentation
- Performing presentations to new and existing clients
About You
- 3 years + of experience required as a Lloyd\’s Broker
- Experienced in placing Marine Cargo Risks
- Excellent communication and client facing skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Open to business travel to North America or International territories, as and when required
This is a full-time, mid-senior level position in the Insurance industry.
