A brand new opportunity has arisen with a dynamic, consistently growing, independent Lloyd’s Broker that continues to see year‑on‑year success. The company specialises in providing innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions across a broad range of non‑marine and marine risks for its valued global partners and clients. Due to rapid expansion and an increase in incoming business, the Client Services / Broker Support team is now growing and actively seeking an Account Handler / Broker Technician to assist producers with the smooth running of placing risks, managing client accounts through to renewal. This is a front‑end technical role with substantial client and market interaction.
Business Classes: Property (primary focus), Casualty, PVT, Transportation and Financial Lines
Territories: North America (primary focus) and International
Business: Wholesale and Open Market
Systems: Whitespace
Role Responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively with brokers/producers and providing full administrative and servicing support
- Production of relevant client and market documentation (MRC slips, endorsements and certificates etc.)
- Day‑to‑day servicing and account management of new business clients through to renewal stage
- Responding to client and insurer enquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Building and maintaining client and market relationships
- Attending client and insurer meetings with producers/brokers, as and when required
- Liaising with technical processing team
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience creating MRC slips for property risks
- Cross‑class exposure is beneficial but not essential
- Strong client‑facing and technical communication skills
Salary: Competitive and aligned with market rates, based on experience.
