We are working with a well-established, independent Lloyd’s Broker who are looking to appoint a Broker Technician to join their London team.
This is a broad, end-to-end technical position offering the opportunity to work across both open market and binder business. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the broking function by ensuring the smooth processing and technical support on a varied portfolio of risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing and processing MRC slips and endorsements for both open market and binder risks.
- Handling and processing bordereaux.
- Processing risks and maintaining accurate records on the internal broking system.
- Preparing and issuing all documentation including evidence of cover and invoices
- Collating and maintaining written and paid bordereaux.
- Liaising closely with the Broking, Accounts and Claims teams to ensure the effective processing of business.
- Supporting other members of the Technical team as required.
- Assisting with a range of ad hoc technical tasks across the business.
About You:
Looking for someone with previous experience in the Lloyd’s or London Market in a similar technical role.
You will ideally have experience with:
- MRC slips and endorsements
- Risk processing and evidence of cover
- Working closely with Broking and Accounts teams
