We are recruiting for an experienced Account Handler within commercial insurance, ideally in construction.

This role is working with an independent brokerage based in Westcliffe-on-Sea, Essex.

This is a full time role, on a hybrid basis where you will be working within a busy team, dealing with all aspects of account handling including renewals.

You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a main point of contact for general commercial and construction clients, providing support to them for their cover, premiums, documentation and policy requirments
  • Process all insurance documentation, predominantly into the construction industry.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Obtaining information relating to renewals, liaising with insurers and reviewing all documentation needed to ensure a seamless and effective service
  • Using Acturis to process MTAs, new business, renewals and generate documentation

Experience required:

  • At least 3 years experience as a commercial insurance Account Handler, ideally within construction
  • A good understanding of construction insurance products
  • Confident with excellent communication skills
  • Acturis experience
  • Client centric approach
  • Highly organised with the ability to handle high volume at pace with accuracy and efficiency
