Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Exercising administrative control over the day-to-day functions of the branch office, including implementation of Credit Union policy and explanation of Credit Union programs, policies and objectives.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring and training employees, appraisal performances, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Responsible for working with the Branch Manager & Head Teller to help coach, train & motivate staff to achieve individual and branch goals as well as motivating the staff to achieve those goals.
- Supervises all branch personnel, delegates and assigns staff as required and exercises the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions and salary recommendations.
Ensures that staff is trained in all phases of their respective jobs.
- Acts as a member service representative in attending to the needs of existing and prospective members including new accounts, processing loans, handling member complaints and inquires and when necessary performing teller functions.
- Assumes the duty of Branch Manager in their absence and all of the duties and responsibilities that the position entails.
- Ensuring that all branch operations are in accordance with governmental and regulatory policies & procedures and audit guidelines.
- Maintaining prescribed security controls to protect the facility against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or expense, while being mindful of Align Credit Union’s reputation & building relationships with members in a positive manner.
Ensures staff receives continuous training on Security and Robbery procedures.
- Assumes the responsibilities as head teller in their absence.
- Assists in developing and implementing new procedures for the Credit Union while staying current on all existing policies and procedures.
- Ensures that adequate supplies and equipment are available for personnel.
- To complete all basic training required and to obtain NMLS.
- Ensure the branch is error free.
- Participates in community affairs as necessary to enhance the Credit Union’s professional image.

The expected base pay rate offered for this role is $27.34 - $36.00 per hour.
Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
Fluctuating schedule Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-5:00 PM and Saturdays 8:30 AM-12:30 PM.
