Business Development Representative – Nasdaq Financial Technology

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating sales opportunities for the Financial Technology Sales Team through target market research, prospecting via social media and event attendance, and follow-up on marketing activity including inbound leads.
  • Support Senior Sales Executives to identify key areas of opportunities in the market.
  • Prospect potential clients by phone and direct emailing, while researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Answer prospect questions and send additional information by email, and create/handle prospect lists for each region.
  • Schedule meetings for Senior Sales Executives and support in closing deals to help meet quotas.
  • Maintain accurate activity records in Salesforce.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our FinTech solutions and product updates.
  • Proactively take on new initiatives and demonstrate a curiosity for learning.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or marketing/sales.
  • Passion for sales and a keen interest in B2B sales.
  • 0-2 years of BDR/SDR experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Can-do attitude and resourcefulness.
  • Team player.
  • Experience with Sales Enablement tools such as Salesforce, 6sense, Highspot, Outreach or Storylane is beneficial.
