As an Account Manager reporting to a Sales Director, you’ll play a meaningful role in managing and growing relationships with Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers across the UK, helping them realize the full value of Nasdaq’s FinTech solutions while supporting balanced revenue growth. You’ll thrive in this position if you’re commercially minded, relationship‑driven, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment. You bring a strong curiosity about financial technology and enjoy partnering with customers to solve complex, regulated‑industry challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for a portfolio of Tier 2 and Tier 3 UK customers, building trusted, long‑term relationships
- Own the end‑to‑end contract renewal process, ensuring timely and successful outcomes
- Identify and drive upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within your customer portfolio
- Partner closely with customer success managers and solution directors to support growth‑focused initiatives
- Proactively communicate product updates, improvements, and Nasdaq’s strategic roadmap to customers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Proven years of experience in account management, sales, or a customer‑facing commercial role
- Proven ability to lead customer relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Strong communication skills with experience working in collaborative, cross‑functional environments
- Comfort working with CRM tools and balancing multiple customer engagements simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FinTech, RegTech, or a regulated financial services environment
- Exposure to capital markets or financial software solutions
- Experience working with UK‑based clients and stakeholders
This position will be located in London and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment, with at least 3 days per week in the office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
