Nasdaq eVestment is looking for an Account Manager to work with some of the most sophisticated Asset Owners and Asset Allocators in EMEA. This role will focus on Asset Owner and Asset Allocator clients. You will build and maintain effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts, that may involve an international partner or major global accounts. Furthermore, you will create demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers. You achieve revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account, and conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies.
What You’ll Do
- Developing a trusted advisor relationship with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors to ensure they are leveraging the application to achieve full business value.
- Cover all of the new and expanded clients in EMEA, with a focus on the Middle East region.
- Specifically responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at a smaller group of customer accounts.
- Serving as the voice of the customer, tracking the pulse of your clients and helping them get the most out of our products and services.
- Monitoring and recommending strategies to increase user usage and adoption.
- Coordinating internal implementation, reporting needs, training and product resource as needed.
- Partnering with the Sales Team to identify client upsell opportunities.
- Conducting strategic business reviews to gauge progress, identifying areas for improvement, gathering and maintaining key client metrics to achieve both client and company objectives.
- Managing multiple projects, responsibilities and competing priorities.
- Reviewing contracts to ensure all activities are within the terms of the contract.
- Prepare various reports to help manage and understand your clients, such as top clients, clients at risk, quality of success, and stage of implementation.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
- Previous experience from sales, customer success or relationship management role from financial software company or asset management firm, ideally at an endowment, foundation, family office, fund-of-funds, or OCIO shop.
- Superb relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of sales/technical contributors throughout the organization.
- Having a consultative sales- and account management approach, strategic thinking and deal-closing skills with the ability to identify client pain points and present solutions.
- Ability to lead client calls and have a high comfort level with conflict resolution.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Self-starter who is eager to learn the business at a fast pace.
Nice To Have
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English, not required but highly beneficial.
- Strong understanding of institutional investment markets a plus.
- Experience at financial software company or at an asset management firm, ideally at an endowment, foundation, family office, fund-of-funds, or OCIO shop.
- In-depth understanding of the unique dynamics, cultural nuances, and business landscapes within the Middle East region.
