Altrad is seeking an asbestos operative trained (ARCA / ACAD) Scaffold Labourer to support scaffold and site operations on a newly established project at Dounreay.
Location: Dounreay

Work pattern: 10/4, 07:00 to 17:00. This fixed‑term position ends December 2027 approximately. Start date is July/August pending successful SC Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting scaffolders and site teams with day‑to‑day activities
- Movement and handling of materials and equipment
- General housekeeping and maintaining work areas
- Assisting with loading/unloading deliveries
- Supporting safe access and site set‑up activities
- Following site safety rules, procedures and instructions
- Assisting with general site duties as required
Key Requirements:
- Must be SC cleared or willing to undergo clearance
- Must be asbestos operative trained ARCA or ACAD
- Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) cards for Scaffold Labourers
The project operates on a 10‑day fortnight rota. Week 1 – Monday to Sunday – 07:00 to 17:00. Week 2 – Monday to Wednesday – 07:00 to 17:00.
