NAS Recruitment are currently recruiting for warehouse operatives for ongoing positions, based with our client in Bathgate. These roles will lead to permanent positions for suitable candidates after a qualifying period.
Candidates would ideally have experience in a similar role. Having a valid counterbalance forklift licence is also advantageous, though not essential as full training is provided.
Proactive, efficient and full of initiative, you’ll be trusted to keep the Regional Distribution Centre clean and working correctly. Your Section Leader will have specific tasks for you, like operating a long fork truck, loading a vehicle or helping to organise pallets and crates.
In and around that, you’ll be alert and ready to tackle anything that might need doing to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse. It might be something simple like stocking vending machines or cleaning up a spillage. Equally, you’ll report any defects to the warehouse area or its equipment.
This is a hugely varied role, and a very important one. Hours of work are from 08:00 until finish, typically around 7-8 hours each day, but can vary depending on volumes. Rates of pay starting from £12.38 per hour.
