NAS Recruitment are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers required for a tyre recovery position based in Dunbar. This role involves the collection of used and waste tyres throughout Scotland. This is a Day Shift position, Monday to Friday, typically starting at 06:00 each day. Occasional weekend shifts are available too. This is an ongoing position and will lead to permanent employment for the suitable candidate.
Suitable candidates should have:
- A full UK driving licence (with a maximum of 6 penalty points)
- A valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Good communication skills and a flexible attitude towards work.
Rates of pay start at £14.73 p/h (£19.59 for overtime after 48 hours and weekends). Upon becoming permanent the role is salaried at £36,000+ basic. Previous experience is desired but not essential.
