As a confident driver, you must have a valid UK driving license for a minimum of 2 years, ideally with van driving/multi-drop experience. Previous delivery driving experience is highly desired but not essential. You need to be prepared to work weekends delivering to customer work and high-volume drops. You must be hardworking and passionate about excellent service for our customers.
Main Duties:
- Preparing the vehicle, ensuring all products for a delivery are correct and that they have been loaded onto the vehicle correctly and safely.
- Executing any special requests from customers by picking up and delivering items as directed on the delivery note.
- Checking all deliveries once they have been dropped at the final destination.
- Maintaining customer confidence.
- Checking the run sheet, picked orders for your deliveries and routing.
- Assisting in planning your route.
- Returning all empty kegs and gas bottles, ensuring they are correctly stored in the empties yard and unloaded in the correct manner.
Excellent customer service skills are required. The role includes weekends.
