Nära Accountancy supports ambitious business owners who want clarity, confidence and control over their finances. It’s a modern, digital-first practice that goes beyond compliance. You’ll work directly with Beth, the founder of Nära, and get close exposure to how a modern accountancy practice supports clients.

Role Description

This is an apprenticeship designed to give you real experience, not just theory. You’ll start by building strong bookkeeping foundations, and as your confidence and qualifications grow, you’ll develop your skills across VAT, payroll, accounts, tax and client communication.

What we are looking for

  • A genuine interest in accountancy and business
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft software, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisation skills
  • Clear, friendly communication skills
  • Comfortable using technology and keen to learn new systems
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Demonstrates a high level of honesty and integrity
  • Ideally college/6th form leaver
  • 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths
  • No prior experience in practice is required, just the right mindset
