Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking to step into a senior role? Join Napthens LLP, a leading regional law firm with a strong people‑first culture. As a Senior Legal Cashier, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant financial operations while supporting fee earners and the wider finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliations (client and office accounts)
- Processing BACS, international payments, disbursements, and client‑to‑office transfers
- Ensuring compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules
- Reviewing bills, credit notes, write‑offs, residual balances, and completion statements
- Managing and responding to finance queries
- Supporting WIP reviews, month‑end processes, and SRA audits
- Acting as Deputy to the Client Accounting Manager when required
About You
- Proven experience in a legal cashier role
- Strong understanding of SRA Accounts Rules
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive, service‑focused approach
- Strong Excel skills
Desirable
- Experience with Proclaim
- ILFM qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
