About the role
We’re looking for a friendly, approachable, and professional Receptionist to join our Preston office team. As the first point of contact, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for visitors, clients, and colleagues. You’ll be responsible for:
- Welcoming visitors
- Answering and directing incoming calls
- Supporting meeting room bookings
- Ensuring reception areas are well presented
- Providing general administrative and hospitality support
Experience is flexible, as full training will be provided. A driving licence is required, as there may be very occasional cover needed at other offices, although this will not be a regular requirement.
About you
- Friendly, professional, and confident when dealing with people face to face and over the phone
- Comfortable working in a front-of-house role and acting as the first point of contact
- Well organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident using IT systems, including email and basic office software
- Reliable and flexible, with a willingness to support holiday cover where needed
- Calm, approachable, and professional, even in a busy office environment
