Join our dynamic Finance Team at Napthens LLP, a leading regional law firm that combines professional excellence with a people-first approach. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our Finance Department, managing a range of treasury and matter management duties while maintaining compliance with SRA Accounts Rules.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out daily and monthly bank reconciliations across all client and office accounts.
- Process incoming and outgoing payments, including BACS, disbursements, standing orders, and international transfers.
- Manage daily banking, bills, credit notes, write-offs, and client-to-office transfers.
- Respond to finance queries promptly via the Finance Helpdesk, ensuring a high level of service.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with ad hoc treasury or finance tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a legal cashier, finance, treasury, or accounts role.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to develop a strong understanding of the SRA Accounts Rules (training will be provided).
- Experience with Proclaim and/or AccessPay would be an advantage.
