We’re on the lookout for a proactive Legal Assistant to join our specialist Family department. You’ll be working closely with our experienced family lawyers, assisting with complex casework and ensuring the smooth progression of matters from start to finish.
What you’ll be doing:

Providing casework support to lawyers across a variety of family law matters

Preparing complex documentation, including court documents and bundles

Drafting briefs to counsel and managing communications with third parties

Liaising with clients and other professionals in a courteous, empathetic and professional manner

Supporting administrative processes such as billing, file management and court applications

Managing deadlines, diaries and court dates with precision and care
What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role (experience in family law desirable)

Strong administrative and IT skills, with excellent attention to detail

An organised, proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with a calm and compassionate manner

Ability to prioritise and manage multiple matters with professionalism and accuracy
