Author the story of a category that doesn't have one yet.

About Napster

Napster offers lifelike AI agents that meet your customers wherever they are, and collaborate with your employees as coworkers. Agents that meet your customers on your website, inside your app, on a kiosk in a hospital lobby or a quick-service counter. And agents that work right next to your people, a real crew for every single employee.

The opportunity

Napster is creating a category, and a category this new is won or lost on whether the world can understand it. That is your charge. You own the canonical product narrative, the story of what Napster's agents do, and you make it so clear and so reusable that every channel, every seller, and every partner tells the same compelling version. This is the rare product marketing seat where you are not decorating someone else's narrative. You are the author of it.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who can build a canonical narrative out of a fast-moving product line, think in reusable systems rather than one-off decks, and turn deep technical truth into language a buyer feels.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the canonical narrative: the positioning and story across every surface, written once and adopted everywhere.
  • Build the asset system: solution books, evidence assets, launch messaging, and battle cards the whole company pulls from.
  • Build the naming and messaging system that scales as the portfolio grows, so the same thing is called the same thing everywhere.
  • Shape pricing and packaging as you grow into the seat.
  • Hold the bar on every asset that goes out under the story.

Your first 90 days

You audit what exists, define the canonical story, and ship the first solution books for our priority motions. You stand up a way of working that keeps assets current as the product moves. By day 90 the test is simple: sales and partners reach for your assets instead of asking for bespoke ones.

How you'll know it's working

  • Sales and partners report clearer messaging and fewer one-off asks.
  • Asset reuse climbs.
  • Collateral turns around in hours.
  • Naming conflicts disappear.

Who you'll work with

You are the source the Microsoft co-sell work adapts from. The forward-deployed team hands you the field proof that makes assets real. You work across Sales, Partnership, and Product without owning their domains, which is exactly the leverage of the role.

Competencies

  • Narrative Authorship. You build one canonical story out of a fast-moving product line and make it stick across every channel.
  • Systems over Decks. You think in reusable assets a whole company pulls from, not one-off slides.
  • Technical Translation. You turn deep product truth into language a buyer feels, without losing what is true.
  • AI-First Operator. You build the narrative system with AI: message tests, positioning drafts, and channel assets generated and pressure-tested fast, with you as the editor who sets the bar rather than the bottleneck who writes every line.
  • Pricing and Packaging Sense. You have owned pricing and packaging, or worked hand in glove with those who do.
  • Leads through Clarity. You move Sales, Partnership, and Product without owning them, by being the clearest voice in the room.

Why this is one of the best seats, period

Most product marketers inherit a story. You will write the one a whole company, and its biggest channel, repeats. If naming new things is the work you love most, this is the seat.

Benefits

  • Paid Time-Off: We offer flexible vacation time with 10 company holidays.
