Napier Clarke Architects is seeking a talented Part 2 architectural assistant to join its growing team in the London studio. Napier Clarke Architects is an emerging practice with a strong track record of delivering award-winning, design-led architecture. In 2020, we were recognised by the RIBA Journal as one of the UK’s four ‘Future Winners’, and we continue to produce RIBA Award-winning projects that reflect our commitment to thoughtful, high-quality, sustainable design. Our work is shaped by a rigorous design process that responds carefully to context while placing sustainability at its core.
We are currently working across the cultural, education, residential and workplace sectors for private, museum and developer clients, while continuing to expand into new areas. As a growing studio, we pride ourselves on a hardworking, supportive and friendly culture. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills across a range of design-led projects, with genuine opportunities to grow and build a long-term career within the practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
- excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- strong experience across all RIBA work stages
- excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- the ability to communicate design ideas through sketching and model making
- a practical, collaborative and team-focused approach
- strong technical knowledge and an interest in contemporary construction methods
- proficiency in BIM (ideally ArchiCAD, although training can be provided) and Adobe Creative Suite
- the ability to manage multiple projects and balance competing priorities
