The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as our Global Sales Operations Manager. As a key member of our Go To Market leadership team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our CRO in proactively optimising and enhancing our sales processes to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales operations management, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive a high performance culture. This person will sit at the right hand of the CRO acting as a strategic advisor as well as being a key hands-on contributor to the business success.

Your day to day:

  • Sales Process Optimisation: Analyse and streamline end-to-end sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Evolve and implement best practices to drive consistency and scalability in sales operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure frictionless sales engagements to ensure we have a faster more professional response time than our competitors.
  • Proactive Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and implement robust sales analytics to provide insights into sales performance, trends, and opportunities. Create and deliver regular reports to senior leadership, highlighting key performance metrics, and areas for improvement. Work with the wider business to deliver monthly high quality board reporting. Utilise data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making and sales forecasting.
  • Sales Team Support: Provide ongoing support to the sales team, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and information needed to succeed. Bid Management Orchestration to ensure seamless cross functional collaboration on responses. Support the development of onboarding and ongoing training schemes. Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales and other departments.
  • Performance Metrics and KPIs: Help define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team. Establish performance metrics to assess individual and team performance, and support the implementation of strategies for improvement.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Work closely with finance to develop and manage sales budgets. Collaborate with sales leadership to create accurate sales forecasts based on market trends and historical data.
  • Technology and Tools Management: Take ownership of the business CRM (currently Hubspot) with support from Marketing and IT. Evaluate, implement, and optimise sales technologies to support the sales team. Provide training and support to the sales team on effective use of sales tools and technologies.
  • Wider Business Support: Given the growth phase of Napier it is expected that this role may be asked to support a number of wider ad-hoc initiatives including key annual activities such as SKO as well as other SLT initiatives during the year.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 6+ years proven experience in sales operations management, with a track record of driving results.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Proactive not task driven. Takes ownership of actions to ensure the outcome is delivered not just the task at hand.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong excel and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Expertise with sales technologies including Hubspot.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
