Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status(QTS)
- National Award for SENCoordination / NPQSENDCO (or working towards)
- Strong working knowledge ofthe SEND Code of Practice
- Proven experience ofimproving outcomes for pupils with SEND
- Excellent communication,leadership and organisational skills
- Strong commitment toinclusive education and high expectations
Desirable
- Experience as a SENDCo in aprimary setting
- Experience working within aschool with high SEND needs
- Experience of multi‑agencyworking and EHCP processes
