IT Systems Architect

NaphCare is hiring an experienced IT Systems Architect to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters on-site in Birmingham, AL 35216 . The IT Systems Architect will work within a team devoted to IT infrastructure and will have the opportunity for advancement within the growing department. 7+ years of systems architecture experience is required for this senior level position; 10+ years of relevant experience is ideal. Bachelor’s Degree and previous IT consulting experience highly preferred. 5+ years of experience in designing, building, and supporting AWS environments. Experience with configuring DNS and DHCP, VMware vSphere 6.x, server 2016 and/or 2019 operating systems. Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform. Demonstrated excellence in customer service and ability to communicate with all levels of cross-functional teams. Ability to logically troubleshoot in order to create innovative and practical solutions for problems as they arise. Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects towards known goals with minimal supervision in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Position Description: Provide top tier support related to the design, management, and maintenance of systems for our nationwide network of sites and users. Communicate with end-users in order to provide top tier support for system and network issues. Implementation and troubleshooting of systems, both physical and virtual, and networks. Management and troubleshooting of AWS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange.
