Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Director of Operations:

• Provides operational and clinical oversight to 10-12 prison systems, community-based hospitals, and provider groups. Utilizes resources to resolve routine medical issues and improve performance.
• Serves as a liaison to facilitate collaboration among departments such as contracting, claims, scheduling, and medical records.
• Proactively addresses problems using objectivity and insightfulness, meeting goals and taking responsibility for results.
• Works closely with EVP, SVP, and AVP on operational issues involving clients and network facilities.
• Ensures contract compliance and conducts regular reviews of the Quality Control Plan.
• Coordinates and conducts site visits or teleconferences regularly.
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and promotes a positive work environment.
• Builds productive relationships with staff, security, healthcare providers, patients, vendors, and clients.
• Acts as a liaison between staff and administration to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Works independently, manages multiple priorities, and exercises judgment and discretion to meet organizational goals.
• Possesses excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities; works well independently and with hospital executives.

Qualifications

Qualifications for Director of Operations:

• RN required
• Minimum of 5 years healthcare-related experience
• At least 3 years of managerial experience; multi-state management experience highly desirable
• Travel required 10-15%
