At Naomi House & Jacksplace we are embracing the changing world of palliative care for children and young adults and developing new ways of working, so we are looking for a Practice Educator - Nurse Band 6 equivalent to join our forward‑thinking, passionate team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working within our skilled Practice Education Team, you will maintain and further develop clinical training programmes for all care professionals in the Trust, in line with our agreed educational strategy.
- This will include supporting clinical theory and skills assessments, continued development of a robust clinical competency framework and assisting with the regular review of skill mix and care needs.
- You will work directly within the clinical area, advising and supporting the development of competency and confidence.
About you:
- A qualified paediatric or dual registered nurse with proven experience in education or teaching.
- You must have up to date experience with a range of clinical skills including invasive and non‑invasive respiratory support; IV and central line management; and experience of nursing care at end of life.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good presentation skills are also important.
