Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, an esteemed arts institution with a global reputation seeks an administratively strong Safety Assistant on relief basis at the School of Young Talents (SYT). The NAFA School of Young Talents (SYT) helps students lay a solid foundation in the arts and develop their artistic potentials. Through courses for art, dance, drama and music, we offer young talents an avenue to explore, learn and pursue their passions, so they may rise up with the courage to create.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • The role involves serving as a relief personnel, stepping in as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing crowd management to ensure a safe and orderly environment on campus as well as facilitating smooth entry and exit for all SYT students while maintaining overall campus security.
  • This includes managing parental access to the premises, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and addressing any concerns related to student safety.
  • A key part of the role includes attending to visitor enquiries, providing assistance as needed, and supporting the Principal with additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • No prior experience is necessary.
  • You should be comfortable standing for long hours, as your role will involve active on-ground presence and coordination.
  • You should be willing to work on Fridays and weekends to provide consistent support during peak periods.
  • A full commitment to the stipulated contract is expected to ensure smooth operations throughout your engagement.
