The Executive Officer, Marketing and Communications (2‑year contract) will help create engaging content for digital and print platforms, support digital marketing and the publicity of key events and initiatives, and assist with activities that raise awareness of NAFA’s programmes, student achievements and institutional stories. The successful candidate would demonstrate creativity and strong organisational skills in managing the different content for NAFA’s marketing, events publicity and public relations efforts.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Social Media and Digital Marketing
- Support the development of content for NAFA’s website, social media platforms, newsletters, email communications and marketing materials.
- Draft and adapt content such as social media captions, short articles, event write‑ups, campaign copy, interview stories and basic video scripts.
- Work with colleagues across the academy to gather information, stories and content that highlight student achievements, faculty expertise, events and programme offerings.
- Help maintain content calendars and support the timely rollout of content across channels.
- Plan, film, and edit video content using DSLR or mobile devices and video editing tools.
- Ensure content is clear, engaging and aligned with NAFA’s brand and tone of voice.
- Support digital enrolment campaigns across Singapore and prioritised regional markets.
- Support performance marketing ensuring alignment with enrolment goals.
- Design and Visual Content Support
- Assist with the creation of simple visual assets such as social media graphics, digital flyers, presentation slides, email banners and event collaterals.
- Use design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to support content needs where required.
- Assist with the organisation and management of NAFA’s digital photo and video library to ensure assets are well‑catalogued and easy to retrieve.
- Help ensure visual materials are consistent with NAFA’s brand guidelines.
- Events and Publicity Support
- Support the publicity and communications for events such as exhibitions, performances, talks, open houses, showcases and recruitment activities.
- Assist with preparing event‑related communications materials, including promotional copy, digital assets, programme notes, scripts, briefing materials and post‑event content.
- Support on‑site content needs where required, including photography coordination, social media coverage and basic event communications support.
- Support administrative coordination for content, campaigns, events and communications projects as needed.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Arts Management or a related field.
- Candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience in content, marketing, communications, events are encouraged to apply.
- Good writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear and audience‑friendly content.
- Interest in digital content creation, storytelling and social media.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, and basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator will be an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work well with different stakeholders.
- Interest in the arts, arts education and creative industries will be an advantage.
