Our client is a leading developer of Software for the Finance and Investment Banking Industry. Increased growth has led to the opening of a new role for a Software Developer (C++/Javascript) to join the Milton Keynes based operation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to gain finance and investment banking business domain knowledge or advance their career in web application development.
Candidate Criteria:
- Graduate level education
- 3+ years commercial development experience in C++ and JavaScript within either Windows or Unix environments
- A proven track record of developing robust products
- Demonstrable experience of delivering high quality software solutions in line with business needs and timescales
- Ability to write maintainable, testable, high performing software
- Understanding of software best practices, design principles & patterns
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or Sybase
Desirable:
- Experience using a JavaScript framework such as Sencha Ext-JS
