Overview
In this role you will support end users and infrastructure for a Berkshire-based IT solutions provider, leveraging bilingual English/German communication. You will deliver first-line IT support, handle installation and configuration tasks, and provide on-site coverage. The position involves travel to European client sites and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence IT service quality while supporting a growing client portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Test, identify, repair, resolve and document end-user IT issues across desktops, printers, handhelds, smartphones and iPads
- Provide 1st line IT support to the business community
- Perform infrastructure administration tasks
- Offer on-site support as part of a shift pattern
- Travel to European client sites as required
Key requirements
- Diploma or Engineering degree with MSCE or CNE qualification
- In-depth experience in end-user support including VIP support
- Installation and configuration of desktops, laptops, printers, servers and networks
