- Experience of end to end systems development.

Job Role:
- Lead and manage business systems for the company.
- Ensure that IT and other business systems and processes are robust and flexible and are scalable to support business growth.
- Own relationships with key external systems providers through whole life cycle (tender, onboarding, governance, performance management, disengagement etc).
- Continually assess and improve the adequacy of business systems in terms of governance, compliance in areas such as cyber security, GDPR, resilience, performance standards.
- Ensure the systems portfolio is aligned to business objectives, and business need is supported in a timely way.
- In collaboration with business stakeholders, lead the evaluation and adoption of digital business enhancements to ensure the provision of a competitive and, over time, leading set of services and user-experience in the sector – benchmark, market-test and measure to ensure delivery of value and customer attractiveness.
- Ensure continuous and measurable improvement of solutions quality and speed-to-value – driving the adoption of QA upstream and Agile methods.
- Lead and be responsible for audit, cybersecurity and other reviews of business systems, balancing minimising risk with affordability.
- Lead and ensure effective and efficient and compliant management of business systems operations.
- Collaboratively manage the business systems team, ensuring sound objectives, performance, innovation and professional and personal development, and ensuring capability and capacity is matched to business need and affordability.
- Manage and lead the development teams, ensuring that the digital project plans are robust and of high quality.
