Job Overview
- Define the scope and objectives of business systems through research and stakeholder collaboration.
- Analyze user needs and optimize system logic for better efficiency and performance.
- Manage business systems projects from start to finish.
- Design PowerBI dashboards and prototypes for data-driven requirements gathering.
- Extract, query, and interpret complex lab data using SQL to support clinical and operational decisions.
- Translate technical infrastructure needs into documentation and actionable plans.
- Mentor and guide less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.

Requirements
- Bachelor\’s degree in computer science or Life Sciences.
- Typically 10-15 years of IT experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 6 years in a Central Lab or Clinical Trials environment preferred.
- Deep understanding of business applications and client requirements in regulated settings.
- Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and management.
- Proficiency with PowerBI for creating visualizations and insights.
- Knowledge of lab data structures, enterprise platforms, and clinical workflows.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams.
