We are currently recruiting a qualified nurse with infusion experience in Northern Ireland, specifically to see patients in Causeway and Antrim. As an infusion nurse, you will visit patients in their homes and clinics to take blood, provide support and education, and administer medication. The workload varies weekly but can be planned in advance based on patient and nurse availability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer medication and treatments
- Take blood samples
- Provide specific training to patients as needed
- Participate in regular training on compliance, communication, adherence, motivation, product issues, and drug safety
- Ensure continuous and complete documentation and reporting
- Report adverse events
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with at least two years of experience
- Experience in blood sampling and cannulation
- Active Nursing Registration and necessary training
- Pediatric experience is desirable
- Ability to manage workload independently
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, colleagues, managers, and clients
- Ability to work autonomously
- Flexibility with time and willingness to travel within Plymouth
- Driver's license and own car
- Good computer skills
