Job Overview
The Consultant will work primarily on teams led by Engagement Managers and Principals to meet goals and objectives as outlined in client projects. Under supervision, the Consultant will develop and present project plans and proposals. The role is largely client-facing and may involve being the day-to-day contact on projects. Responsibilities include overseeing deliverables, timelines, and ongoing project execution, as well as quality reviewing all staff deliverables. Special and internal projects may also be assigned by Engagement Managers and Principals. Projects cover topics such as:
- Contracts/agreements
- Compliance Consulting (programmatic design, risk assessments, benchmarking, industry best practices)
- Commercial Operations and Business Process Enhancement (HCP/O engagement process design, process transformation, technology support)
- Fair Market Value (FMV, HCP Tiering, Rate Analysis, FMV process)
- Transparency and Aggregate Spend (US Sunshine Act, France Transparency, EFPIA)
- Auditing and Monitoring (live monitoring, data analysis, compliance auditing)
Additional projects may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead consulting projects
- Facilitate business workshops and interviews with clients
- Develop project deliverables including data analyses, reports, process reviews, policies, and SOPs
- Present ideas and opinions effectively
- Manage project timelines and quality
- Mentor junior staff members
- Build and maintain client relationships, identify future opportunities
- Create project outputs with oversight
- Contribute to organizational growth
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Experience
- Experience in client relationship management within Life Sciences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Qualifications & Other Requirements
- 2-3 years in strategic management consulting or legal roles, preferably with a Big 4, strategy consulting, healthcare consulting, or law firm
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA, JD, or other master\’s preferred
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Independent, organized, self-motivated
- Comfortable with numbers, business acumen, leadership skills
- Willing to travel up to 50%
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, compliance, and risk management is a plus
