PURPOSE The role of Assistant Project Financial Analyst is to fully assist the Operations functions of CSMS through the provision of financial analysis and information; to support the Business Partner functions of CSMS Finance department, working with project management to run the financial aspects of their projects, as well as support to close the Month End Process in a timely and accurate manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Business Partnering to include Key accounts, providing Monthly support to the Project Management team in review of the financial health of their Projects.
- Maintain monthly reporting and analysis of overheads.
- Month End Close processes and procedures for P&L including preparing relevant journals.
- Assistance in the Audit of Projects and Contacts.
- Identify risks and opportunities and work with the business to ensure opportunities are realized and risks avoided or minimised.
- Assist cash flow and NBO (Net Billing Outstanding) management for all service areas.
- Develop Financial reporting and prepare Client Reporting where required.
- Needs to be a strong team player, working as a team within Finance and across the business.
- Looks to continually improve process and systems.
- Other tasks as defined by Assoc Director, Finance and Finance D.

- Strong interpersonal skills

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Working towards or AAT/ACCA/CIMA part qualified
- Preferably experience of working within Finance
- Preferably educated to Degree level
- Experience of dealing with Projects Managers
- Strong Excel Skills
