About the Project NanoCure at King’s College London
The NanoCure project is a pioneering translational nanomedicine initiative developing medical‑grade nanoneedle bandages capable of delivering gene therapy directly through the skin. The technology aims to treat recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (RDEB), a rare and devastating genetic skin disorder, by enabling precise, minimally invasive gene delivery to restore normal tissue function. At the intersection of nanotechnology, molecular biology, and regenerative medicine, NanoCure represents a new frontier in clinical nanoscience, combining biomaterials innovation with gene therapy translational pipelines.
Role Summary
As a Postdoctoral Research Associate you will play a central role in advancing the NanoCure platform from laboratory prototype to pre‑clinical validation and regulatory preparation. Your work will involve both experimental R&D and translational process development, ensuring the technology meets safety, sterility, and efficacy standards for clinical testing.
