We're looking for a Business Systems Developer to join a well-established recruitment organisation where you'll play a key role in developing, enhancing and supporting critical business applications used across the company. This isn't a data engineering or BI role. Instead, you'll work across both the SQL Server back end and the user-facing application layer, maintaining and improving internally developed business systems that support day-to-day operations.
The Role
- Developing and enhancing SQL Server databases, stored procedures and T-SQL code
- Maintaining and improving Microsoft Access applications
- Developing user interfaces, forms and reports using Access and VBA
- Enhancing C# applications that integrate with SQL Server
- Working directly with users to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions
- Troubleshooting issues and providing ongoing application support
- Improving existing systems while contributing to future development projects
This is a hands-on development role where you'll spend most of your time writing code and delivering enhancements to business-critical systems.
