Live-in or daily nanny role for two young children (ages 2.5 and 5 years) based between Notting Hill, London and Cirencester, Cotswolds with international travel. Position starts in June, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) from 08:00 to 19:00, and requires a driver. The family offers a private moving-in apartment in London and a separate annex in the Cotswolds, an extra 22 days of leave above statutory holiday, and the opportunity for career growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide child-care and supervision for two children at all times, ensuring a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.
- Prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks, maintaining strong nutritional awareness.
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, encouraging learning and exploration.
- Support a Montessori approach, as required for the family’s son and daughter.
- Coordinate and attend nursery or childcare classes, including arranging transportation and scheduling.
- Act as a “sole charge” caregiver during the family’s travel trips, and share care responsibilities at other times.
- Use the client’s car to accompany the family on short travel trips, where needed.
- Maintain a cordial and collaborative relationship with the international nanny and other household staff.
Qualifications
- Professional nanny or childcare experience, preferably with children aged 2-5 years.
- Calm, patient, and nurturing demeanor, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement educational and play activities.
- Experience working with SEN children is an advantage.
- Excellent driving licence and valid driver’s experience, with willingness to travel.
- Comfortable around dogs and in a pet-friendly home environment.
- Flexible availability to accommodate travel and occasional overnight stays in either location.
