A warm, busy and international family based in Chelsea is seeking an experienced, energetic and highly organised

Rota Manny or Nanny to care for their three school-aged children — two boys aged 14 & 11, and a girl, 9 years (full nanny duties).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional candidate who enjoys working with older children and thrives in a fully staffed household environment.

The role operates on a one week on/off rota basis, increasing to two weeks on/off during family travel periods.

Strong swimmer essential.

The children are bright, active and extremely sporty, with football being a particular passion, so the ideal candidate will be sporty, active, engaging and confident supporting busy school and extracurricular schedules.

Although this is a sole-charge position, parents work from home and there is a full household team including another rota nanny caring for the youngest child, household staff and a PA.

Full nanny duties will include

  • Sole-charge care of the three children during rota periods.
  • Managing school routines and schedules.
  • Liaising with schools, handling school communications and administration.
  • Organising extracurricular activities, sports fixtures and appointments.
  • Supporting homework routines and encouraging independence.

• Nursery duties relating to the children, including

  • Children’s laundry and ironing.
  • Wardrobe management and seasonal organisation.
  • Packing/unpacking for travel.
  • Keeping children’s bedrooms, play and study areas organised.
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
  • Proxy parenting when required.
  • Accompanying the family on occasional travel.
  • Support children’s independence, accountability, and self-management.
  • Establish and maintain consistent, well-structured daily routines and complex diary management
  • Provide guidance on etiquette, behaviour, and personal organisation.
  • Act as a positive role model, setting clear expectations and boundaries.
  • Liaise effectively with parents, schools, and the wider household team.

The ideal candidate will

  • Have excellent previous nanny or manny experience with school-aged children.
  • Be confident working in formal, fully staffed households.
  • Be proactive, positive, discreet and highly organised.
  • Have a genuine interest in sport and active lifestyles.
  • Be calm, flexible and able to manage busy family schedules.
  • Hold a clean driving licence and be a confident driver.
  • Have excellent, checkable references.
  • The children attend school full-time and travel daily via the school bus from Chelsea.
